Educational programs of the College of Social Sciences


After the student movement to the second level he will be distributed to department he wants according to the criteria of the study in each program ,the college provide seven programs provided by three departments : psychology, political science and library and information and the three other programmers offered by the Department of theater sciences attended by students when they reach the second level.

Importance of the programme and its objectives and educational output target


Study aims in this program to graduate professionals possess the scientific and practical skills that will enable them to work in libraries and institutions of different kinds of information (such as libraries and information centers, and information networks, and others), to achieve this objective, the program provide:

· Teaching a package of special courses in the area of libraries and information, aimed at giving students the necessary skills, either in theory or practice, that would enable them to work in the library and information institutions, both traditional and modern .

· Teaching a package of special courses dealing with information and communication technologies and their applications in libraries and information modern centers. Addition to the information institutions that require the availability of such skills in their workers.

· Teaching a series of courses concerning methods of scientific research and a modern statistical methods in the analysis of data and curriculum aims to give students the skills required in scientific thinking, and systematic preparation of scientific research papers at the first university level, as well as rehabilitation to complete their studies Supreme future those who wish them .

· Field training students in libraries and information centers modern Egyptian aims to give students practical skills required to work as professionals in these institutions, both at the level of vocational training in the area of specialization, or training in information technology and communications and its applications in libraries
