Quality Assurance Center of October 6 University organized on the 24th of November 2014, a workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights and the Norms & Ethics of Scientific Publishing" for academic staff.

The one-day sessions aims at introducing the participants to the concepts of intellectual property (IP), its scope and relevance, as well as the legal procedures to ensure its protection. The workshop also addressed the ethics of scientific research and mechanisms of international publishing. The workshop was co-trained by Dr. Mohammed Abdulla, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Dr. Amal Abdel Kader ,Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences of October 6 University.
