Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Egypt in a Visit to October 6 University

 HE Laurens Westhoff, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands paid a visit to October 6 University (O6U) on the 28th, September 2016. The Ambassador was the guest of honor at the celebration on the occasion of graduating the 2nd batch of graduates (30 graduates), of the joint program of both October 6 University, Faculty of Applied Sciencs and the Netherlands University of Applied Sciences.

By virtue of their program, graduates are awarded a collaborative degree in Applied Medical Sciences.

In his speech, the Ambassador highly commended the ongoing educational cooperation in the framework of the friendly relations that happily exist between Egypt and the Netherlands and expressed his strong will to further pursue enhancing relations in different fields.

Students and staff expressed their pleasure to meet with such an enlightened and courteous personality, wishing His Excellency a pleasant stay in Egypt and a successful tenure.

Visit program of HE the Ambassador included a field visit on campus and a working lunch which witnessed interesting and useful discussions.
