 Under the patronage of , Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami President of October 6 University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohsen Abi Al-Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and under the supervision Organizing the Alumni Affairs Follow-up Committee under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasmine Alaa El-Din and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marwa Belidi. In the interest of the university and the college to support means of communication between its graduates over the years, the Alumni Affairs Follow-up Committee was held at the college on Wednesday 6 /3/2024 A symposium entitled (Returning Home) for college graduates from the different batches that have graduated from the college since its establishment. The day witnessed a large presence and interaction of graduates returning to their homes, professors, and college after years have passed.

Memories, ideas, and suggestions were exchanged between the Dean of the College, the deputies, and the graduates. A tour of the college was also conducted for the graduates to witness the developments the college has witnessed since their graduation. The graduates expressed their admiration for the great development witnessed by the college and its keeping pace with global changes with regard to education and the introduction of modern technology. A proposal was discussed to create an association for graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry - October 6 University to support the college’s activities in the scientific, social, and cultural fields, provide job opportunities for graduates, and facilitate cooperation with various parties. This proposal was met with everyone’s admiration and the support of Prof. Dr., Dean of the College. The graduates expressed their desire to renew the meeting on a permanent basis and to hold future meetings periodically.
