The Faculty of Dentistry, October 6 University participated in the World Conference on Health, Population and Development. "THE GLOBAL CONGRESS ON POPULATION, HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT PHDC ‘23"
Which was held under the patronage and presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, from September 5 to September 8, 2023 in the New Administrative Capital, under the slogan “Healthy Population for Sustainable Development,” with the participation of more than 8,000 people from Egypt and countries around the world.
The conference was attended by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and a number of ministers and senior statesmen. All those concerned with health, population and development issues at the global, regional and national levels and representatives of international organizations, civil society, the private sector and entrepreneurs also participated in the conference.
The faculty was represented by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Abi Al-Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, October 6 University and Professor of Conservative dentistry, who gave a lecture on “A New Perspective on Conservative Treatment and Its Impact on Public Health.” and Prof. Dr. Yousra Nashaat, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Professor of Endodontics, who gave a lecture on “Recent developments in the field of endodontics and its role in improving oral and dental health
