The Faculty of Engineering, October 6 University, announces its participation in attending a symposium entitled

 “Human Rights and Mental Health”

 on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Hall 4208, Faculty of Education, October 6 University

under the care of :

Prof. Dr. Hassan Ajwa, Dean of the College of Education

Prof. Dr. Fatima Barakat, Vice Dean of the College of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs .

The aim of the activity was to educate male and female students about human rights and to achieve the tenth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, which is to reduce inequalities.

The topic of the symposium included: Dr. Ismahan Hamdi, the teacher in the Psychology Department, conducted this symposium in the presence of 10 male and female students in the first year of psychology and 10 male and female students in the first year of engineering. It included many topics, namely: defining human rights and mental health, classifications of human rights, what are the most important rights? Human beings, what are the challenges facing human rights, what can be done to protect human rights.
