The college’s participation in the development convoy organized by the university’s development convoy committee to the village of Minya, Al-Saf Center in Giza Governorate, on Tuesday, 3/5/2024.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Gamal Sami, President of October 6 University, and Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the University’s Development Convoys Committee organized a development convoy to the village of Minya, Al-Saf Center in Giza Governorate, on Tuesday, 3/5/2024. The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery participated under Care of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the College, has five medical clinics, and the number of cases attending the clinics during the convoy’s operation was as follows:
1- Ophthalmology clinic: 72 cases
2- Dermatology clinic: 100 cases
3- Children’s clinic: 167 cases
4- Internal Medicine Clinic: 131 cases
5- Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic 97 cases
The total number of cases reached 567 cases, and patient referrals were made to complete diagnosis and treatment at the University Hospital from the following clinics: -
Nose and ears: 20
Ophthalmia: 10
Dermatology: none
There are no children
Al Batinah 15 cases
The total number of referrals reached: 45 cases
198 people attending the convoy were also educated on the issue of female circumcision
The convoy took place in an atmosphere of intense crowding from the public
