The participation of the Faculty of Economics and management in the work of the twelfth Arab Environmental Youth Forum under the title "The Twelfth Arab Environmental Youth Forum for Water and Food Security: Life Issues", from 16-22 February 2024, in Luxor and Aswan, under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and the umbrella of the League of Arab States, UNICEF, the Ministry of Environment and ACSAD, based on the recommendations of the recent Council of Arab Ministers of Water and Environment. October 6 University presented distinguished models of positive and effective participation in the forum, under the directives of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr - Chairman of the Board of Trustees - and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami - President of the University - and continuous follow-up from Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development - Prof. Dr. Tarek Hammad - Dean of the Faculty of Economics and management - and the implementation of Prof. Dr. Suzi Rashad - Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development - which accompanied the participating students. This is in the interest of the university to participate positively and effectively in such conferences and all voluntary service community activities, and this is a translation of the strategy of maximizing the societal role of educational institutions, especially universities, until "October 6" became a model for linking science with community service, but one of the important sources in graduating generations active in volunteer work.
