Course Description :

- Sign System Design - 3105

-Designing indoor and outdoor sign systems (Roads, Hospitals, Exhibitions, Companies, etc).-They study the scientific principles of the shape, color and text.

 

- flyers and Brochures Design - 3107

Flyers, brochure, letterheads(printed Media) and packaging design play a vital role in promotion - The students becomes involved in areas of market research and sales promotion and in identifying consumer likes and dislikes. Studying the techniques of presenting information about products or services.

  

- Color For Sign System Design - 3112

Studying color signification and psychological impacts of colors in the Sign System and studying the interpretation of colors for different cultures.

 

- Graphic Techniques For Sign System - 3116

Learning the methodology of designing sign systems through making a maquette, studying lightning and animation techniques.

 

-Psychology Of Advertising  3223

Knowing the psychology theories that are related to advertising in order to communicate with consumers through different mediums.

 

-Ecology and Environmental Studies - 3704

- Students learn about: The environment – its definition- the relationship between the environment and humans including their behavior in the  surrounding environment-human motives-sensation and attention in perceiving the environment- Environmental studies in Egypt including( Natural environment - Sociological environment - Cultural environment - Environmental law - Political environment -  Religious environment)

 

- Electrical Engineering - 3406 

-The theories of the electric engineering – the electric amounts – the principles of the circles of the continuous and echoed current – the magnetic fields – the electric machines – the electric measurements are the applications of the principles of the electric cables designing – the principles of the design of the computers circles – the control circles – the lighting designing principles to the different buildings

 

-Criticism and Artistic Aesthetics - 3604

-Students discuss the following topics:

The purpose of art - different art mediums- categorizing art - art and simulation- the relation between art and nature - art and perception.

-Definition- origins- history- different philosophers' perspectives on beauty- simulation theory- aesthetical standards.

 

- Advertising Design With Animation - 3106

-Including designing storyboard, 2D animated shapes and 3D animated shapes, taking into consideration the time of broadcasting, sound elements, designing the movements with the emphasizes on advertisements' message - Through this course students begin to explore character illustration and animation.

 

-  Advertising Technology- 3114

- Graphic Design is the translation of ideas and concepts into structural order and visual form- It is the art of books, magazines, advertising, packaging and propaganda - This course focuses on the definition of advertising, advertising theories and goals - Also studying the elements that make successful add and the methodology of applying the Ad. In different media.

 

- Animation Production Technology - 3115

-Studying the methodology of creating animated and still Ads and solving Advertising production problems.

 

-  Legislation & Law Of Advertising - 3222

- Concept of professionalism and roles of law and government, and individuals in determining ethical standards in the advertising field.

 

-  Psychology Of Color - 3242

-Studying the psychological theories of color and its effect on humans and the vital role that it plays in selling a product or service. In addition to the signification of color and local and international communities.

 

-  Computer Skills- 3403

In this course the students learns advanced image and graphic manipulation, that transfer of files between programs (using Eps, Tiff and Pict formats).

-Advanced grammar – linguistic skills- skinning & scanning – technical specialized Terms- subjects on plastic arts and applied arts.

 

-  Life Drawing (Figure Drawing) - 3307

-Basic anatomy principles drawing figures of different ages and gender (child-male-female) and considering the different proportions -  Studying a part of the figure (face, arm, leg,…). Drawing still and moving figures - Drawing portraits and recognizing the source of light and how it effects the features using pencil, charcoal and colored pencils).

 

-  History Of Arts  - 3603

-During the third year students are exposed to the artwork and architecture of the Islamic and Coptic periods
