Media and Mass communication Faculty celebrate the conclusion of summer activity

 The Faculty of Media and Mass Communication held a ceremony to celebrate the closure of summer activity of 2018/2019 under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Attia Saada, President of October 6 University.

The ceremony were attended by Dr. Ali Abdel Aziz, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohamed Youssef, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Marai Madkour, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Mass Communication.
During the ceremony, some cadres of media were honored, among of which are Mr. Ehab Galal, the Chairman of Al Nahar Television Network, Mr. Abdul Gawad Abu Kub, Editor in chief of Rosaelyoussef gate, Hamed Mahmoud of Ten channel, Mr. Abdul Ghani Al Maliki, presenter of ERT channels Group, Mr. Mohammed Habib, Managing Editor of Al Ahram Newspaper, Dr. Suheir Al Musadqah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and head of the publishing sector of the General Egyptian Book Organization, Mr. Nabil Tarouti, Editor-in-Chief of Loghat El Asr magazine, Mr. Khaled Fouad, Editor-in-Chief of Al Shabab magazine, and Mr. Mohamed El-Sayem, Assistant Editor-in-Chief of El Gomhoria Newspaper.
The ceremony honored as well Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Chairman of Creative Agency, Mr. Abdel Hamid Abou El Fadl, Head of Public Relations Department at Al-Ahram newspaper; Mr. Mohamed Abdelmagid, Senior Broadcasters of the Egyptian Radio; Mr. Mohamed Tharwat, Training Officer of Youm7 Newspaper; and Mr. Osama Siam, Human Resources Department of Al-Nahar TV.
"The vision of our faculty aims to raise the level of our students in both scientific and practical skills, with the help of senior media teachers and cadres, to qualify students to keep pace with the media market as much as possible", professor Marai Madkour, Dean of the Faculty Stressed.
Marai added that the faculty cooperates with major media institutions to train students during their academic studies.
The students trainees are distinguished and aware of various media practices reflecting their distinctive talent and the excellence of the educational process at the faculty of Media and Mass Communication in October 6 University, and its coping with modern technology and the needs of the labor market, some media cadres said.
