The Artistic Activities and Events of the Ninth Annual Exhibition the Glorious Victories of October started on Sunday 9/10/2016 at Panorama October Theater at Ard ElMa'red. The Celebrations were attended by Dr. Wael ElDegwy, Former Minister of Higher Education and Major Sherif Fahmy, Head of Research Authority. The ceremony witnessed fire work show, followed by a variety of theatrical performances presented by October 6 University, which included a poetic performance, entitled "No Zion!" by Iman Eid Hassan, Faculty of Media and a singing performances by (Magdy Hassan, Faculty of Medicine- Ahmed Assem, Faculty of Media- Rehab, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management- Alaa Adel, Faculty of Education). The University concluded the Ceremony with the documentary film "October 1973 between the Past and the Present".
The Film produced by the University hosted the following actors Ahmed Maher, Lotfy Labeb, Mahmoud ElHdeiny and AbdelSalam ElDahshan, along with Armed Forces Major Talaat Mussalam. The Film addresses the story of the struggle of the Egyptian people before and after the October 1973 war.
