Agreement for Academic Cooperation and Exchange between October 6 University and Surantthani Rajabhat University-Thailand
A delegation from Surantthani Rajabhat University in Thailand headed by Prof. Dr. Narong Buddhichiwin, President of the University visited October 6 University on July 19, 2010 and was received by Prof. Sayed Tonsy Mahmoud Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Prof. Ahmed Attia Seida President of October 6 University together with the Vice-Chairman of the Board of trustees Vice-Presidents and Deans of October 6 University faculties.
A meeting was held during which the two sides, the Egyptian and the Thai discussed ways and means of establishing academic cooperation between the two universities.
A general agreement has been signed between the two universities for the exchange of professors and students, cooperation in conferences and joint research. Two other specialized agreements of cooperation have been signed between the dean of faculty of Tourism and Hotels in October 6 university and his counterpart in Surantthani Rajabhat University and between the dean of Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at October 6 University and the dean of Faculty of Nursing in Surantthani Rajabhat University.
