October 6 University Celebrates Egyptian Woman's Day

October 6 University in cooperation with State and Civil Society Institutions organized on Thursday 17/03/2016, the Third Annual Conference entitled: "The Role of State and Civil Society Institutions in Support of Women's Issues.". Dr. Kheireldin Abdellatif, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees inaugurated the conference and made a presentation and on the role of Egyptian women through the ages and the opportunities and challenges required of Egyptian women and concluded the presentation by addressing the importance of men supporting women until fully achieving their rights.

As the poet / Ali Imran (Director of Ahmed Shawki Museum) in Cairo, handles also the importance of women's role in the lives of great men and personify the concept of inspiring women in the life of the great characters. The conference included a range of activities as well, including women's gallery through the ages, presented by Faculty of Fine Arts students.

As well as the display of models of Egyptian and international women who have changed a lot of concepts and enriched society and at the end of the meeting, a number of women were honored.
