October 6 University organized the 12th International Cultural Festival on 19 and 20 March 2019 at The Campus. More than 35 countries participated in the festival in their embassies and communities with public figures, artists, media persons, many university students and guests from the community.
Prof .Dr. Ahmed Zaky Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of October 6 University, stressed the great importance of the festival in promoting relations and in contributing to building a culture of peace, renewing the invitation to all to participate in the many cultural events organized by the University. For mutual communication and understanding with people of different cultures, especially as the university raises the slogan of education for sustainable development as the title of the festival this year within the activities of the university which is in line with the goals adopted by the United Nations to achieve environmental sustainability.
He added that the festival provides an opportunity for students and their countries and different cultural institutions to present their cultures through artistic performances, traditional food, fashion, music, folklore and others.
