The First Seminar at the Department of Political Science

 The Political Science Department held the first seminar for the academic year 2017-2018 headed by Dr. Suzi Rashad. The Council discussed two topics: Dr. Osman Mohamed Osman discussed the first topic which was about parliamentary mechanisms, composition of the council, committees of the Council, Functions of the President of the Council, committees and parliamentary oversight, while the second topic reviewed a book entitled "Development Policies in South Korea and Malaysia" by Dr. Wafaa Lotfy. In this book, she attempted to shed light on the policies that led South Korea and Malaysia to achieve significant rates of economic development and the learned lessons for the Arab region from these successful experiences.  A number of Faculty members, teaching assistants, students of the Department attended the seminar which lasted for two hours on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Hall 4413.
