 Dr. Wafaa Lotfy, Lecturer at the Political Science Department, participated with a research paper at the Conference of African Research and Studies Institute entitled to "Security and Economic Challenges in Africa," on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. This research paper was titled "Water Security in the Nile River Basin: An analytical viewpoint to the reality of the situation and future prospects ", where she discussed the problem of water security, which is due to the historical legacy and political sensitivities and challenges of developmental reality for all countries of the Nile basin. This has become one of the most important issues faced by the Nile basin countries which still for the political decision to become available as well as the existence of the collective will of the Nile basin nations which needs to overcome the past with all its indrances.
