Dr. Merai Madkour, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Mass Communication denied the rumor of appointing Professor Tawfiq Okasha as a member of the faculty's teaching staff.
Such rumor was mentioned on anonymous pages at Social Networking platforms, assuring that both the university and the faculty have no relation to such pages, Dean of the faculty said.
Dr. Madkour emphasized his deep appreciation to all journalists, including Tawfiq Okasha.
"We should be cautious in dealing with false news, especially all news published in social networking sites, as the appointments of teaching staff members are submitted directly to President of the university, who submit it to the Board of Trustees", Merai warned.
