Members of O6U Students' Medical Association (SMA) held a campaign on 18/3/2014 on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), which was held at O6U's hospital. The campaign took place as part of the awareness week targeting the medical issue, which included a survey with a distribution of questionnaires, as well as training sessions to properly educate and inform the members on the topic before holding the campaign. The event was very successful with a positive impact created by informing fellow medical students and members of the public on FGM and the importance of stopping such a practice.
