Faculty of Engineering organized a seminar entitled: Construction Law Concepts, ideas and the problems of implementation On: Thursday: 21/11/2013 At the main hall of the Central Library of the University, Lectures: Eng.\ Hussein El Gebali – Advisor to the Minister of Housing and Former Chairman of the Urban Planning Authority. Eng.\ Nefisah Hashem - The Chairman of the Housing and Utilities Sector of the Ministry of Housing, and First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing In the framework of student’s study (especially, civil and architecture departments) of laws, regulations and the implementation documents, the Faculty seeks to link the content of these curriculums in practice, especially in light of this unprecedented amount of urban violations in Egypt in in the previous period and to submit proposals to solve this problem Many of the leading figures in the Ministry of Housing and New Urban Communities Authority, and a group of professors and specialists from Egyptian universities took part in the seminar Prof. Mohamed Issa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering said that General objectives of the seminar: 1. highlight the role of the Faculty of Engineering in cooperation with country organizations to develop constructive Egyptian law through this seminar 2. highlight the capacity and potential of the University to take a leading role in community service, the development of the city, solving engineering, legal problems and activate this role 3. Community outreach and transfer engineering expertise to the next generation of college students.
