- The internal medicine course aims at graduating a competent physician capable of dealing with multiple diseases and health issues safely , ethically and effectively through teaching a lucid information ,knowledge ,recent updates and clinical skills in all branches of internal medicine namely cardiology,chest, urology,haematology,gastroenterology and neurology.

E First semester:
1- Cardiovascular Diseases :

Attendance Criteria:
Students must attend at least 70 % of the theoretical lectures and 75 % of the clinical rounds to sit for the final exam.

Formative & Summative exams

- Written exams: short questions, long questions, case histories, MCQs
- Oral exams
- Clinical exams: short cases & long cases.
- Diagnostic skills exams: X- rays, CTs etc...
Marks distribution:
A total of 100 Marks distributed as follows:
30% Year Activity including end of round exam at Kasr El Ainy Hospital.
40% End term written exam.
30% End term oral, clinical and skills Exam.
