The Youth Welfare Department at October 6 University organized a Charity Marathon (5 km) on 30/10/2018 for
Ahl Misr Hospital for the treatment of accidents and burns for free of charge, sponsored by the President of the University, in the presence of the Vice President for Education and Students Affairs and the Director General of Administrative Affairs, along with a large number of faculty members, employees and students. The marathon was won by Ahmad Jumaa Abdul Khaleq (first place ''student''), Ahmad Hamada Saeed (Second place ''student''), Essam Mustafa Abdul Rahman (third place ''student''), Rania Abdel Razek Abdel Moneim (first place ''student''), Maha Lotfi Fouad (second place ''student''), Yasmin Abdel Moneim Shalabi (third place ''student''), Khalid Subhi Said (first place ''worker''), Karim Ibrahim Musa (second place ''worker''), Karim Ahmed Mohammed (third place ''worker''), out of 420 contestants . The University extends its sincere congratulations to the winners and wishes them the best of excellence.
