Report on OTC Drugs Training 12th Course of The Demo Pharmacy

 Demo Pharmacy – Faculty of Pharmacy – October 6 University held a training course on Sunday, 11 / 2 / 2018 and on Monday, 12 / 2 / 2018 for 120 students in the following:

1-    How to treat hypertensive patients and identify the drug classes which can used for treatment as well as identify the side effects of each drug category. (Lecturer: Dr. Abdullah Mohammed – Lecturer of Pharmacology and Toxicology Department).

2-    Identification of the different types of diabetes and identify the types of insulin used in the treatment. (Lecturer: Dr. Haitham Galal Al-din – Assistant Lecturer of Clinical Pharmacy Department).

3-    How to prevent sunlight by identifying the types of drugs used for protection and prevention (Lecturer: Dr. Khaled Al-sayed Mahmoud – Demonstrator of Pharmaceutics Department).

4-    How to control weight and identify the medicines used in body building and slimming drugs used in the pharmacy (Lecturer: Dr. Sherif Mohamed Eid – Lecturer Assistant of Chemistry Department)

5-    Practical sessions on How to measure and handle all types of pressure devices. This was done by Dr. HaithamGalal Al-din and Dr. Khaled Al-sayed Mahmoud.
