Sixth Course of O6U Demo Pharmacy Entitled Sixth Session of Educational Pharmacy

O6U Demo Pharmacy held a course from 10 to 11 / 7 / 2017 handling the following:

·         The way to treat hypertensive patients and identify the drugs used for treatment, as well as the way to identify the side effects of each drug category. (Lecturer: Dr. Abdullah Mohammed – Lecturer of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University).

·         The way to deal with diabetic patients and the way to identify types of insulin used. (Lecturer: Dr. Diaa Ragab – Assist. Lecturer of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University).

·         The way to adjust the body weight and the way to identify the different medications used in weight gain as well as in weight loss. (Lecturer: Dr. Sherif Muhamed Eid – Assist. Lecturer of Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University).

·         Ways of identifying [types-methods] used in contraceptives and the advantages and side effects of each method. (Lecturer: Dr. Khaled Al-sayed Mahmoud – Demonstrator of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University.

40 students from various levels participated in the courses, who were awarded certificates of attendance.
